Most listened to nationwide, broadcasted in both Pashto and Dari languages. Radio Zamzama was established on 1st February 2008 with a definite vision. We asked ourselves not only how we could get an audience but also what we could do for the audience, how we could improve their lives and the lives of the future generations of Afghanistan. We are a social project, not just an economic one, created by the Zamzama Media Group, the best private media channel in Afghanistan. Due to the conditions that our country has been through, the greatest loss has come to our socio-cultural heritage and democratic values. It is our goal to promote cultural activity and democratic values, to support both the production and consumption of cultural artefacts. We at Zamzama believe that it behooves every civilized people to take their culture very seriously and to do the utmost for its proper development. With 15 professional and experienced employees producing ten innovative social programs like Sitara hai Rangin, Zamzama wa shanandaha, Poran-e-Yadi, Da min-e-banddar, Learn English etc., we are sure to make a ripple in the cultural fabric of Afghanistan. Our programs are original, hard hitting and designed with a particular purpose in mind, that of making a product that not only sells in the market but also has a social meaning. Radio Zamzama is broadcasting its programs on 92.3 FM in Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Logar, Panjshir, Ghazni, Jalalabad, Paktia and Maidan Wardak provinces which covers about 12.7 million people and 1,350 KM coverage area. According to our strategic plan, we will cover four other provinces (Herat, Kandahar, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Bamyan) in nearly six months or one year, and in two years we will cover all of Afghanistan; investment will be continued further according to our strategic plans and our team’s commitment
