UNICEF Provided Cash Assistance to Over 80 Thousand Afghans

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says that in the first half of 2023, it has provided cash assistance to over 80,600 of the most vulnerable households in Afghanistan.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says that in the first half of 2023, it has provided cash assistance to over 80,600 of the most vulnerable households in Afghanistan.

This institution said on (X) Twitter on Tuesday (August 29) that these grants provide opportunities for fathers and mothers to meet the needs of their children.

UNICEF did not provide details on how much money was distributed.
While this institution announces cash aid to 80,600 Afghans, according to United Nations statistics, 29.2 million Afghans currently need humanitarian aid.
